PSU DuBois improve record 5-4 in conference play
The Penn State DuBois women's basketball team took the court on back to back days and showed no signs of fatigue as they rolled to a 77-41 win over Penn State Worthington-Scranton Saturday afternoon. The win improves PSUD's overall record to 12-6 and their PSUAC Conference record to 5-4.
Melody Young (Otto Eldred), who the night earlier pulled down a career high 17 rebounds, scored a career high 21 points against Scranton on Saturday. Kristy Hanes (Elk County) hit for a season high 17 points, and Hope Bridge (Punxsutawney) scored 10 points. Kristen Williams (Eisenhower) and Ashley Brown (Otto Eldred) handed out 13 assists in the game.
PSUD returns to the hardwood with a two-game conference road trip. On Friday at 6:00, as they will to play Penn State Hazleton and on Saturday, PSUD will face Penn State Schuylkill at 1:00.
