USCAA Student-Athlete of the Year: Brandon Gettig, Penn State DuBois

Congratulations to the 2017 USCAA Baseball All-Americans and special award winners announced Sunday at the pre-tournament banquet.

Student-Athlete of the Year: Brandon Gettig, Penn State DuBois

This year's student-athlete of the year comes from an individual that is involved in the community and has been instrumental in his team's success this season. Brandon Gettig has a 3.8 Cumulative GPA, is a USCAA All-Academic award recipient, and has spent the last three summers as a counselor at Sylvan Hills Christian Service Camp for kids. A sophomore infielder, Gettig is also batting .345 and a team-high 18 walks with a .457 on base percentage.
