Penn State DuBois Claims Clark Luis Invitational Championship with Dominant Team Effort
The Penn State DuBois men's golf team delivered an outstanding performance yesterday, capturing the Clark Luis Invitational Championship in impressive fashion. Behind consistent play, composure, and depth across the lineup, the Nittany Lions outpaced a strong field of competitors to bring home the title.
Leading the way was Gavin Kaschalk (73), who continued his stellar season with a steady round that kept him at the top of the individual leaderboard taking home the Individual Championship trophy. Brock Smith (76), Cody Fagley (75) and Quin Gavazzi (79) provided crucial depth, each carding solid scores that kept the team comfortably in front of the competition. Other contributors were Tyler Rusalem (84), Lance O'Neil(91), and Trent Miller (90) who played a crucial role in DuBois capturing the inviatational championship.
The victory at the Clark Luis Invitational marks another milestone in what's shaping up to be a strong season for Penn State DuBois golf. The team's consistent improvement throughout the fall has them well-positioned heading into upcoming conference and USCAA championship events.
