The men's basketball team played host to PSUAC opponent Fayette this afternoon on the campus of Penn State DuBois. DuBois jumped out to a commanding lead on a 22 to 4 run to start the game. Jaiquil Johnson had 14 points at the half while DuBois defense held Fayette to only 18% shooting from the field.
Fayette started a comeback but DuBois defense held strong to keep Fayette at bay. DuBois outrebounded the opposition by 18 and had a big 7 offensive rebounds from Grant Grimaldi. Johnson finished the night with 29 points, Ashton Fortson with 15 points, Grimaldi finished with 14 points, and Christopher Frontera dropped in 12 points on 4 for 7 from the 3-point line.
DuBois will be back in action on Tuesday when they host PSU Mont Alto at the PAW Center.
