Cross Country Teams Showcase Local Talent in Season Opener
The Penn State DuBois cross country teams turned in strong performances this past weekend, with the men's team earning a 3rd place overall finish in the Wolfpack Invitational held at Westmoreland County Community College..
Leading the charge for the men's team was 2024-2025 First Team All American Jack Craig (Clarion-Limestone HS), who ran an outstanding race to place 3rd individually with a time of 18:13.5. He was followed closely by David Kunselman (Punxsutawney HS), who secured 7th place with a time of 18:43.3. Brady Means (Brookville HS) crossed the line in 14th at 19:45.6, while Eli Fox (Clearfield HS) posted a solid effort with a time of 19:57.6. Logan Meier (Clarion-Limestone HS) finished 23rd with a time of 22:16.3, and Chase Hook (DuBois Area HS) rounded out the team's performance with a 32nd-place finish at 24:09.7.
On the women's side, Rebecca Martin (Northern Potter HS) proudly represented PSUD as the team's lone competitor. She delivered a strong showing, placing 19th overall with a time of 27:28.8.
Both squads will return to action on September 20th, when they travel to Allegheny College for their next invitational.
