The Penn State DuBois softball took to the road this weekend for a pair of doubleheaders. The first stop was PSU Hazleton on Friday afternoon where DuBois would get into a nail biter. Game 1 saw DuBois down 1-0 most of the game, locked in a pitchers duel. Lizzy Scott would get 8 strikeouts, but Hazleton would still sneak in a run that would be the only run of the game.
Game 2 would be very similar, but Hazleton would score 4 runs to best DuBois. Maura Fledderman would get going offensively for DuBois as she would go 2 for 3 from the plate with a double, but it wouldn't be enough as DuBois would drop game 2, 4-0.
