The Lady Lions started slowly, trailing 14-11 after the opening quarter as Beaver County jumped out to a fast start. By halftime, the margin remained narrow at 28-22 in favor of the Titans. At the half dubois came out and shown that they were going to regroup and get their own rally going hitting multiple three point shots by Shannon Shaw, Natalie Bowser, and Eden Wonderling. DuBois responded strongly by out-scoring Beaver County 24-19 in the third quarter that narrowed the gap to a single point heading into the final frame. Going into the fourth quarter it felt that the lady lions were hitting their stride and gaining momentum in the game. A few questionable calls in the fourth quarter kept the team from mounting the come back and CCBC held on for the 62-59 win. The womens next game will come on Nov. 18 as they start conference play against Penn State New Kensington.
