The PAW Center has not officially opened yet on the DuBois campus, but was able to showcase it's first home volleyball match last night. A large crowd turned out to support the team in the newly renovated gym.
DuBois started out strong as they won the first set, 25-20. Visiting Greater Allegheny turned it up a little however, and took the next 3 sets to win the match, 3-1.
DuBois played hard having lost a few key starters from last years USCAA semi finalist team. Kierra Keck led the way with 8 kills, while Skylar Ceprish added 7 of her own while adding 18 digs. Setter, Megan Hyde put up 20 assists in the effort.
DuBois will travel to Mont Alto on Sunday for another conference matchup.
