The Womens volleyball team came out swinging last night against Penn State New Kensington. In a game of rallies, DuBois came out on the better end of most of them on the evening. In the first set, DuBois jumped ahead early after New Ken made a close comback that resulted in a set win for DuBois by a score of 25-20. The second set was very similar as DuBois pulled away to take the set 25-19. The tide changed in the third set with New Kensington bouncing back and took the third set 25-21. That would be the end of the run for New Kensington as DuBois jumped out to an early lead and never looked back taking the fourth set by a score of 25-16.
Navaeh Spaeth, Emily Silvis, and R'eylee Paradis combined for a total of 27 kills while Tessa Rethi lead the team in assist with 21. The teams next competition will come on Wednesday at home as they host Penn State Fayette in another conference game.
