Penn State DuBois Cross Country Teams Compete at Lock Haven Invitational
The Penn State DuBois men's and women's cross country teams tested their skills on a big stage this past weekend at the 24th Annual Lock Haven Invitational. The event drew more than 600 runners representing NCAA Division I, II, and III programs from eight different states, making it one of the most competitive meets on the fall schedule.
Coach Creighton praised his teams for their effort and resilience. "Competing against such a deep and talented field pushes our runners to elevate their performance. You can see that in the results as almost everyone ran a PR." he said.
Jack Craig led the way for the men with a time of 30:29, followed by Eli Fox (31:40), Brady Means (33:26), David Kunselman (35:07), Logan Meier (40:04), and Chase Hook (41:15).
In the women's race Rebecca Martin (34:26) and Jasmyn Williams (36:08) both ran season best times.
The Lions will look to build on this experience as they continue their season, with their next competition scheduled for Saturday, October 4 at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg Invitational.
